Trimming is a craft. In general it is a type of business in which the flag is transferred from father
to son.

Seritcioglu is in this sector since three generations. The company is named after the family
name Seritcioglu which means son of ribbon manufacturer in Turkish.

In general trimmings are produced from ready colored yarn and with this technology multicolor yarn trimming can be achieved.

Seritcioglu has two systems for production of trimming :

Non dyed raw white rayon, viscone trimmings which can be dyed upon request. |
|
|
|
|
|
This system has a big advantage of keeping minimum level of risky stock. |
|
|
|
|
|
The main disadvantage is the end user has to be a wholesaler in general who knows to piece dye
the trimmings furniture and curtains accessories according to the end user' s request. |

|
|
|
|
The second disadvantege is that multicolor can not be applied. |
|
|
|

On the other hand Seritcioglu produces with silk-like polypropylene yarn produced within the
group, bright, good handle trimmings which allow competitive prices and multicoloring. |
